Your food choices depend on several things: your health, how much exercise you do, and how much weight you lose.
Low Carb Foods: Meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, high-fat dairy products, fats, wholesome oils, and even some tubers and non-gluten grains.
High Carb Foods: sugar, HFCS, wheat, seed oil, trans fat, “diet” and low-fat products, and highly processed foods.
Low Carb Foods to Eat
Your diet should include raw, low-carb foods, such as:
Meat: Beef, Lamb, Pork, Chicken, etc.; grass feed.
Fish: salmon, trout, cod, and many others; Fish caught in the wild.
Eggs: Omega-3 rich eggs or grass-fed eggs.
Vegetables: spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and many others.
Fruits: apples, oranges, pears, blueberries, strawberries.
Nuts and seeds: almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, etc.
High-fat dairy products: cheese, butter, heavy cream, yogurt.
Fats and oils: coconut oil, butter, lard, olive oil, and fish oil.
If you need to lose weight, watch out for cheese and nuts, as it is easy to overeat them. Do not eat more than one piece of fruit per day.
If you don’t need to lose weight, you can eat a little more carbs.
Tubers: potatoes, sweet potatoes.
Unrefined grains: brown rice, oats, quinoa.
Legumes: lentils, black beans, pinto beans.
Dark Chocolate: Choose organic brands that contain at least 70% cocoa.
Wine: Choose dry wine with no added sugar or carbohydrates.

Foods not to Eat
You should not eat the following foods when on low carb diet:
Sugar: Soft drinks, fruit juices, agave, candies, ice cream, and other products with added sugar.
Refined grains: wheat, rice, barley, rye, bread, cereals, and pasta.
Trans fats: hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils.
Diet and low-fat products: Dairy products, cereals, or crackers have reduced fat but added sugar.
Highly Processed Foods: Don’t eat anything that seems factory-made.
Starchy Vegetables: If you’re following a low carb diet, it’s best to limit starchy vegetables in your diet.
